Durak

The card game everyone in Russia learns first.

There is no winner in Durak, only a loser. Beat what is thrown at you, get rid of your cards, and make sure the last hand on the table is not yours. Two to six players, four modes, no ads and no account.

Why Durak

The game as it is actually played

Played in kitchens, student halls and train compartments, with all the local variations people argue about. Every one of those arguments is a setting.

Four ways to play

Simple, Podkidnoy (thrown-up), Perevodnoy (transfer) and Transfer 2. Change the table rules and the computer plays differently too.

Four levels of AI

Easy plays the obvious card. Normal weighs every one and keeps its trumps back. Hard counts the deck and searches ahead. Master runs the same search, guided by a trained network.

Two to six seats

Head-to-head, or a full six-handed table where everyone piles cards onto whoever is defending. The board lays itself out for the number of players you choose.

Online multiplayer

Create a private room and share the code, or hit Quick match. Empty seats are filled with AI, so the game always starts.

No account, no fuss

Single-player works fully offline. Multiplayer needs just a nickname — never an account, never an e-mail address.

Classic deck art

The Atlas deck, the one people remember, redrawn so it stays sharp at any size. Felt colour, card order and animation speed are all settings.

Learn as you play

The table shows you where you stand: whose bout it is, which of your cards are legal, and whether you can beat it, pass it on or take. Turn the hints off when you stop needing them.

English and Russian

Interface, rules and the letters on the cards, in both. The game takes your device language unless you pick one yourself.

Durak is a game people argue about. Rather than pick a side, the app puts the arguments in Settings — set the table the way it was set where you learned.
