Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 September 2026 · Applies to the Durak Card Game app on all platforms and to this website.

In short: Durak does not require an account, shows no advertising, contains no analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not sell or share data. Single-player works entirely on your device. Online multiplayer transmits only what is technically necessary to run the game. The optional full version is a one-off purchase handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your payment details.

Who is responsible

The app is developed and copyrighted by Mikhail A. Matveev (“the Developer”) and distributed on the Apple App Store by Elizaveta Fragner, Halskestr. 34 A, 12167 Berlin, Germany (“the Publisher”). For data-protection purposes relating to the app and this website you can reach us as described on the Impressum and Support pages.

Data stored on your device only

The game stores the following locally on your device, using your operating system's standard app storage. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete the app:

Online multiplayer

If — and only if — you use the Multiplayer mode, the app connects to our game server. To run the match, the server processes:

Rooms live in the server's memory only. When a match ends or a room expires, its data — names, moves, tokens — is discarded. The server keeps no accounts, no player database and no gameplay history. Other players at your table see only your display name and the cards you actually play.

Purchases

Durak is free to download and free to play. It also offers one optional in-app purchase — the full version — which is bought once and never expires. There is no subscription and there is nothing consumable to buy again.

The transaction is carried out entirely by the App Store, the Mac App Store or Google Play, depending on where you installed the app. We never receive, see or store your card details, billing address or any other payment information. The app only ever asks the store one question — whether the account signed in on this device owns the product — and stores the yes-or-no answer locally so that the game still works offline. That local flag is the whole of what a purchase leaves on your device.

Your purchase belongs to your Apple or Google account, not to any account of ours — we have none. This is what lets Restore purchase return it after you reinstall the app or move to a new device, and, on Apple, what lets one purchase cover both the iPhone and the Mac. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its own policy; the Developer and Publisher cannot issue them directly.

Crash reports

If the app crashes, it can send a report so the fault can be found and fixed. This is on by default and you can turn it off at any time in Settings → Data → Send crash reports; turning it off stops the app sending anything at all.

Reports go to our own crash server at crash.rh1.tech, which we host ourselves. They are not sent to a third-party analytics company, and they are not used for advertising, profiling or measuring how you play.

A report contains the technical circumstances of the crash: where in the code it happened, the app version and build, the operating system version and the device model. It does not contain your display name, your cards, the state of your game, or anything you have typed. The app is configured to attach no user identifier, no e-mail address and no device name, and your IP address is discarded by the crash server rather than stored with the report.

What we do not do

Platform services

The app is distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play. If you have enabled the sharing of diagnostics or crash reports with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may provide us with anonymised crash statistics. These services are governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.

This website

durak.rh1.tech is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third-party content. The web server processes IP addresses transiently in ordinary access logs for security and operation (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Since we hold no persistent personal data about you, in practice deleting the app removes everything stored about you; multiplayer data disappears when your room ends.

Children

The game is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes what it processes, this page will be updated first, with a new effective date. Please review it from time to time.
